re.green was highlighted on this week’s Globo Rural.
The story, broadcast last Sunday morning (7), provided a closer look at our project in Bahia, which already has 347 hectares of native trees planted.
In addition, the segment highlights carbon sequestration and how investors have discovered rural production as a new avenue for investing capital with tangible results.
According to our Technical Council scientist, Ricardo Rodrigues, creating forests is a smart way to mitigate the greenhouse effect: “Everyone is being affected! Agriculture and people are suffering from the lack of or irregularity in rainfall. So, we have to make an urgent decision so that we can effectively sequester the carbon we’ve been emitting into the atmosphere for decades.”
