Nestlé

Restoring the landscape where cocoa and coffee grow, so the land produces more and better for decades.

Intro

Our partnership with Nestlé stems from a strategic vision: ecological restoration is not merely carbon offsetting, but a way to strengthen the resilience of the production chains themselves.

Over 30 years, re.green will work on the restoration and conservation of more than 2,000 hectares of Atlantic Forest in Southern Bahia — a cocoa- and coffee-producing region — with the expected establishment of 3.3 million native trees. The project improves soil quality, protects water resources and regenerates forest connectivity in one of the most biodiverse and most pressured regions of Brazil, while generating jobs and training for surrounding communities.
