Vivo

re.green’s first restoration contract with a Brazilian company — and a 30-year bet on the future of the Amazon.

Intro

Our partnership with Vivo, Brazil’s largest telecommunications company, is a milestone: it was the first restoration contract re.green closed with a Brazilian company. For 30 years, the initiative will recover and conserve 800 hectares in the Gurupi-Turiaçu Mosaic (MA/PA) — a critical ecological corridor between western Maranhão and eastern Pará, threatened by deforestation. The project, named Floresta Futuro Vivo, will plant 900,000 trees of 30 native species, reconnect forest fragments and restore water resources.
