Mariana Barbosa

Mariana Barbosa is a mother of 3 kids (Joaquim, Flora and Antônio). She is a lawyer, holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Change Management from the University of Oxford (2011), and a Master’s degree in Law, specializing in Environmental Law, from the University of California – Berkeley (2012). Prior to joining re.green, Mariana acted as an environmental lawyer in Brazilian lawfirms, focusing on processes for repairing socio-environmental impacts and projects involving carbon credit generation and negotiation. Since 2022, she has been serving as the Legal and Institutional Relations Director at re.green, where she is dedicated to the company’s legal and regulatory matters, as well as to issues interfacing with public policies and its socio-environmental impact strategy.
