Our Amazon restoration project receives top-tier ex-ante rating from BeZero Carbon
August 21, 2025
We’re proud to share that our Entre Rios project, located in the Amazon biome, has received an Ae* rating from BeZero Carbon — placing it in the top quartile of all nature-based projects globally.
A standalone carbon rating of ‘a’ is comparable to the highest rated ex post Afforestation, Reforestation & Restoration (ARR) credits in the Americas. Our project was also awarded the highest possible score for additionality, a key indicator of climate impact.
This recognition reflects the strength of our technical approach and operational execution and the successful approaches towards insuring durable positive impacts for climate, biodiversity and communities.
BeZero’s rigorous methodology evaluates additionality, carbon accounting, permanence, and project-level risks before a single credit is issued.
We believe that transparent, science-led assessments by trusted institutions are fundamental to building integrity in carbon markets. That’s why it was an honor to contribute to BeZero’s recent webinar on early-stage project evaluation. Our Director of Projects, Miguel A. Moraes, joined global experts to explore what quality looks like across project types and how buyers can navigate risk while supporting truly impactful restoration. At re.green, we’re doing it — restoring native forests where it’s hardest, and helping lead the way toward a more credible, resilient nature-based economy.
